Designed by Michael Michaud, this simple, organic necklace epitomizes spring with delicate leaves accented with pearls in soft green hand-applied patinas and 24-karat gold plate. 

This unique jewelry is made by creating molds directly from botanical elements in a process similar to lost-wax casting. Michael uses an actual leaf, branch or flower instead of a wax model. A mold is formed around the botanical element and during the heating process the plant matter is burned away leaving behind a detailed image of itself. Soft patinas are then used on cast bronze and further accented with pearls , beads, corals, glass or stones. 

16" chain adjusts to 18" and secures with an adjustable lobster clasp.
